Barry Kitterman grew up in California’s San Joaquin Valley and has lived and taught in Belize, China, Taiwan, Ohio, and Indiana. His novel The Baker’s Boy (SMU, 2008) won the 2009 Maria Thomas Peace Corps Writers Award for Fiction. He lives in Clarksville, Tennessee, where he teaches at Austin Peay State University.
