“Through their thoughtful text and eye-catching photographs, Gary and Kathy Clark transport the reader to one of our nation¹s last frontiers,Texas¹ Big Bend National Park. It is a region we have visited many times over the course of forty-five years, both for our personal enjoyment and as nature tour leaders for several institutions. Many of the Clarks¹ suggested destinations and adventures are familiar to us, but this book serves to cast them in a new light, offering people of all ages and physical abilities a chance to explore a treasure-trove of geological and natural wonders. Big Bend Adventures should find a place in the packs of everyone who visits this unique park, as it will in ours.” --John & Gloria Tveten, authors of Our Life with Birds, Adventure
