Series Description

The Carolyn & Ernest Fay Lecture and Book Series in Analytical (Jungian) Psychology

The Carolyn & Ernest Fay Lecture and Book Series in Analytical (Jungian) Psychology was established to further the ideas of C. G. Jung among students, faculty, therapists, and citizens, as well as to enhance the scope and focus of scholarly activities related to analytical psychology at Texas A&M University.  Each year an eminent Jungian, selected from around the world, is invited to College Station for three days of concentrated presentations that are subsequently issued as a new book in the Fay series, edited by Dr. David Rosen (holder of the McMillan Professorship in Analytical Psychology) and published by Texas A&M University Press. Generously funded by the Houston philanthropist Carolyn Grant Fay and her late husband, Ernest Bel Fay, for the past two decades these lectures and books have enhanced the intellectual life of Texas A&M and extended Jungian insights and understanding throughout the world.

To date, nearly two dozen books have been released in both cloth and paperback editions, following the highest editorial and production standards. In 2009, the Press also took the initiative to begin publishing full-text, open-access, digital editions of each of these volumes, which can be found on the Press's web site (click here), or in the University Repository, or at the web site of the Texas Digital Library.
